Please note that EWA Allen will be closed Saturday February 4th for the Friendship Invitational meet. Since this day is worked into our guaranteed 48 classes per year, we will not be doing a make-up for this class. For a list of your 48 classes or any questions regarding the closure, please see the front desk.

Come support our EWA Mens team by cheering them on from the stands that day! Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for children 10 and under, and children 3 and under are FREE! See you Saturday!

Did you know that EWA Prosper has an Advance Training Group for Trampoline & Tumbling? Did you know they compete?

On January 21st the EWA Prosper Advanced Training Group competed in their first ever competition. That competition was the Dallas Cup which was hosted by Eagle’s Wings Athletics and had 489 athletes competing.

There are 5 athletes on the Trampoline & Tumbling Advanced Training Group in Prosper and they did great for their first competition. They completed all their passes and showed the other teams that not only does Allen have a great competitive team and advanced training group but they also need to look out for Prosper because they have some amazing athletes as well.

The Prosper athletes walked away with a handful of medals for flight awards and overall Peyton Hulett won 1st place on Tumbling and 2nd place on Trampoline and Double Mini.

Coach Bret said “The kids are off to a good start for their first meet ever. We have high expectations for improvement at their next competition!”.

The EWA Prosper Advanced Training Group will continue their competition at the Trevino’s Invitational this weekend in Lancaster, Texas. Good Luck to all the athletes!!

Competition season has begun for the EWA Trampoline & Tumbling Competitive Team as well as the EWA Advance Training Group in Allen, their first competition was the Dallas Cup on January 20th and 21st at the Allen Event Center. Eagle’s Wings Athletics has hosted this competition for the past 4 years and this year was the largest competition to date with 489 athletes!

Nerves were high for the EWA T&T Team and the Advanced Training Group however the athletes handled them like champions. The EWA T&T athletes walked away with 13 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals!! They also earned four team awards!! Those awards being 1st place on double mini for level 6 and level 7, 2nd place for level 7 trampoline, and 3rd place level 5 tumbling.

The medalists were…

-Gabi D’Annunzio 3rd place on Level 9 Double Mini
-Katie Drake 3rd place on Level 8 Tumbling
-Kaylan Guvernator 2nd place on Level 7 Double Mini
-Jordyn Lamb 1st place on Level 5 Tumbling and Level 7 Double Mini
-Macy Levine 1st place on Level 6 Tumbling
-Chloe Millwee 3rd place on Level 7 Trampoline
-Lauren Omholt (Advanced Training Group member) 1st place on Level 4 Tumbling and Level 4 Double Mini
-Charlotte Pearce 3rd place on Level 8 Double Mini
-Tessa Steiner 3rd place on Level 6 Double Mini
-Sydney Wendt 1st place on Level 10 Tumbling
-Bryan Bashrum 3rd place on Junior Elite Tumbling and 2nd place on Junior Elite Double Mini
-Jeremy Darr 1st place on Level 7 Tumbling
-Grayson Ireland (Advanced Training Group member) 1st place on Level 4 Tumbling and 2nd place on Level 6 Double Mini
-Chase Kirby 1st place on Level 7 Double Mini
-Cole Kirby 1st place on Level 7 Tumbling and 3rd place on Level 9 Trampoline
-Peter Kring 2nd place on Level 7 Trampoline and 3rd place on Level 7 Double Mini
-Zach Rigsby 1st place on Level 5 Tumbling and Level 6 Double Mini and 2nd place on Level 6 Trampoline
-Isaac Rowley 2nd place on Level 10 Trampoline and 3rd place on Level 10 Double Mini
-Marshall Stanton (Advance Training Group member) 2nd place on Level 5 Tumbling and 3rd place on Level 6 Trampoline and Double Mini
-Mac Stout (Advanced Training Group member) 3rd place on Level 5 Tumbling and 1st place on Level 6 Double Mini

Head Coach Amy McDonald had this to say about the competition, “The athletes did an amazing job at their first competition of the season. I am very proud of them and can’t wait to watch them progress throughout the competitive season.”

The EWA Trampoline & Tumbling season continues this weekend as the team travels to Lancaster, TX to compete at the Trevino’s Invitational. Good Luck Athletes!
