Labor Day Weekend

Eagle’s Wings will be open for Friday Night Out this week!  Bring a friend to join in on the fun.  See you there.

Rules and Policies at EWA

What happens if I miss a class? What is my registration payment for, and how often do I get charged for it?  Is Auto Debit required? How much money do I get if I refer a friend?

These are some pretty common questions we get in the EWA office.  Check out our Rules and Policies below.  Hope this clears some things up. {This is always posted on our website as well….Click Here for Allen or Click Here for Prosper}

Registration Fees - Payment for registration fees is due at the time of enrollment. This fee is good for one calendar year from the date of registration and also allows you to receive membership discounts on open gyms, Saturday Night Out and clinics. A letter will be sent directly to your home when your registration fee is expired. Without this insurance fee paid, your child will not be allowed to attend his/her class. Please respond to this letter promptly once you receive it.

Electric Funds Transferred (EFT) Payment - We sign everyone up to take advantage of our EFT Payment System. We can draft a credit card or bank account, saving you the trouble of having to remember to write monthly tuition checks. Bank and credit card drafts will hit your account on the 1st  of each month or the following business day if this date falls on a Sunday.  Please note that this is required.

Missing a Class - Athletes will be given two options for missing a class. In either case, the office must be notified within two weeks of the absence, and each athlete will only be allowed to make-up 1 class missed per month. Option 1 is to attend our *NEW* scheduled make-up class on the 3rd Saturday of the month {Please check our Calendar of Events for specific times each month}.  This class will be appropriate for all classes and all levels. Please preregister with the office. Option 2 is to receive a free Open Gym pass allowing the student to attend either preschool Open Gym or Friday night Open Gym for free. This pass is not good for Saturday Night Out. For team make-ups, you must talk with your team coaches.

Dropping a Class - In order for us to maintain proper record keeping, all individuals dropping a class are to submit a written drop notice to the office 30 days prior to the drop date. We ask that you please fill out this slip 30 days in advance and return it to the office staff. Please do not give these slips to the coaches. You will be billed for your child/children for 30 days from the date our office staff (not our coaching staff) receives your written notice. It is not sufficient to verbally give your 30 days notice.

Referral Discounts - A major portion of our business is referred to us from current clientele, for which we are very grateful. We consider it a compliment to our services and professionalism. In response to your referrals, we will apply a $20 credit to your next month’s tuition for each new family referred. In order for Eagle’s Wings to reward your referral, your name must be in the “referred by” space on the registration form.

Girlz…Rock The House

Good luck to all our athletes competing this Saturday at the Girlz…Rock The House meet hosted by Eagle’s Wings Athletics!  This will be some of our athlete’s 1st competition, and we know it can be nerve racking the first time around, but y’all are all going to do great!

Please remember that there is NO Friday Night Out or Saturday classes this weekend due to meet set-up and competition!

Motion Evolution Is Here!

Join us for this new and exciting program designed to get your kids moving and eating right!  You won’t want to miss out on this awesome new class!

General Information:
Eagle’s Wings Athletics offers recreational classes for anyone with the desire to live a healthy lifestyle. Our Motion Evolution classes are for ages 6 and up and focus on a combination of exercise and nutritional information. We offer an 8:1 student/teacher ratio.

*Please wear a shirt that is either tight enough that it won’t come up while upside down, or a shirt that is long enough to be tucked in.

Motion Evolutioin (formerly Gym Fit):
Weekly – 55 Minute Class

Ages 6+.This program is designed specifically to increase your child’s fitness and to teach them about living a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, they will learn that exercise is fun! The whole class is full of laughter and smiles. We are teaching them to love movement, which will guide them to appreciating activity throughout their lives.

The worksheets are directed to speak to the students in a way that they can understand each topic. Because the handouts are interactive, it allows the children to take in the information and apply it to their lives.

Exercise and nutrition go hand in hand. Motion Evolution targets these two areas through fun and innovative exercise during class as well as through utilizing the interactive handouts. As parents, it is important to encourage your child to fill out the handouts while implementing each weekly nutritional topic into their daily lives.

School’s In Session

School’s in session and Eagle’s Wings wants to wish everyone a great year of academics, activities, and adventures! Make sure to make EWA part of your family’s routine this Fall by checking out our class schedule and signing up early ensuring your child gets the best class for him/her!  Spaces are filling up quickly and you don’t want to miss out!  See you in the gym!

Please note that EWA has several closures coming up.  Mark our calendars so that you don’t show up when we aren’t here

• Friday August 27th - No Friday Night Out {Closed for Girlz…Rock the House Meet set-up}
• Saturday August 28th - No Classes {Closed for Girlz…Rock the House Meet}
• Saturday September 4th - No Classes {Closed for Labor Day Weekend}
• Monday September 6th - No Classes {Closed for Labor Day}

There will be no prorating for Saturday tuition since these closures are built into your tuition already.  If you have any questions, please call EWA Allen at 972.727.9911.

Good Luck Mini Meet Athletes!

The routines have been learned, the leotards have been washed, and now it’s time to shine!  EWA wants to wish all of our Athletes GOOD LUCK at tomorrow’s Space Odyssey Mini Meet!  Make sure to get here a little early so that you are ready to stretch at 1 o’clock sharp! Parents, grandparents, friends and family: bring your cameras to take all the pictures you like!  There will definitely be many Kodak Moments throughout the competition including those with our Space Odyssey cut outs :)  So get some good sleep tonight and we will see you tomorrow!  Good Luck!!

Summer’s Almost Over

With Summer coming to an end and the school year beginning, this is the time where schedules change and everyone starts getting back into a routine.  Eagle’s Wings is busy getting back into our school year routine as well by adding classes to our schedule and looking forward to the Fall!  We are working hard to make sure your child has the best coach for his/her class to ensure fun, safety, and skill building while they are at EWA.  If your child’s coach changes from their Summer coach, please understand that we have done that for a reason. Your child’s skill set that they are working on will be the same regardless of coaching staff assigned to their class since we have skill cards on all kiddos.  These skill cards assure that your child will never have to “start over” if they have a new instructor.
